Christina Cameron & Leslie Devaney Appointed to Chula Vista’s Campaign Contribution Enforcement Panel

Devaney Pate Morris & Cameron LLP is proud to announce the selection of partners Christina Cameron and Leslie Devaney to the City of Chula Vista‘s Board of Ethics panel on Campaign Contribution Enforcement Authority.

Background

Following interviews for the position, Deputy City Attorney Elizabeth Pietanza formally notified Ms. Cameron and Ms. Devaney of their appointment to serve as enforcement authority attorneys for the City’s campaign contributions ordinance, as codified in Chapter 2.52 of the Chula Vista Municipal Code. The appointment reflects the Board of Ethics’ confidence in both attorneys’ expertise in municipal law and government ethics.

About the Enforcement Panel

The Campaign Contribution Enforcement Authority Panel provides independent legal oversight of Chula Vista’s campaign finance regulations. Panel attorneys are authorized to act as the enforcement authority when violations of the City’s campaign contribution ordinance are alleged – ensuring that the City’s elections remain transparent, fair, and in full compliance with local law.
