





Christina Cameron has nearly four decades of local government experience in both the legislative and legal fields. She has focused much of her practice around governmental ethics (including conflicts of interest under the Political Reform Act and Government Code section 1090) campaign and economic disclosure laws, Brown Act and Public Records Act compliance. Ms. Cameron serves as general counsel to the San Diego Ethics Commission providing advisory, administrative enforcement, and litigation services, and regularly trains local agencies and officials in governmental ethics laws. She is also the special counsel to the Los Angeles City Ethics Commission and to the Oakland Publics Ethics Commission. Ms. Cameron is an Assistant City Attorney to the City of Del Mar and previously served as Assistant City Attorney to the Cities of Encinitas and Murrieta.

She previously served on the Fair Political Practices (‘FPPC”) Committee of the League of California Cities and currently serves on the League’s Municipal Law Handbook Committee where she has edited chapters covering regulation of businesses and personal conduct as well as elections.
Ms. Cameron serves as legal counsel to business improvement districts as well as private non-profit and for-profit entities and assists officials in their compliance with state and federal disclosure laws.
Christina’s litigation practice is focused on the defense of public entities including writs of mandate and defending challenges related to administrative enforcement actions. She defends public entities in contract matters, employment, civil rights, CEQA challenges, and public works litigation.
Christina resides in Scripps Ranch with her husband, Ian. Ian and Christina have a son who lives in Boston, MA and a daughter who lives in San Francisco, CA. Chris enjoys running, skiing, and traveling.
